ABOUT
A Wonderful Adventure is a theatre company specialising in the magical and fantastical. We were founded in 2017 to create ethical adventures with a steampunk edge, designed to entertain people of all ages and provide innovative productions to excite, motivate and trigger imaginations. We have brought adventures to the Lyric Hammersmith, The Scoop and King's Cross. Shows include: The Wind in the Willows, Tarzan, The Wizard of Oz, and Amelia Earhart at the Edge of the Stars.

George C Francis
Co-Founder
George trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, graduating in 2007 with a distinction in acting. He has performed and directed in the West End. Recent acting credits include Captain Hook in “Peter Pan (The True Story) by Captain James Hook, ”Toad in "The Wind in the Willows", Merlin in “The Return of King Arthur”, Kerchak in “Tarzan”, Gwynplaine in “The Man Who Laughs”, The Proprietor in "Assassins" and Dickon in "The Secret Garden". Other roles include the title character in “Macbeth”, Ganya in “The Idiot”, Leontes in “The Winter’s Tale”, Benedick in “Much Ado About Nothing”, Mercutio in “Romeo and Juliet”, Beast in “Beauty and The Beast”, and Scrooge in “Grumpy Old Scrooge”. He has led and facilitated workshops for children, adults and people with special needs.
Halie Darling
Co-Founder
Halie graduated from LJMU with a first-class BA Hons in drama. She has performed and produced on the West End. Halie has performed in many productions as an actor, as well as directing and producing. Recent credits include The Witch in “Room on the Broom”, Wendy in “Peter Pan (The True Story) by Captain James Hook”, Jane in “Tarzan”, Dea in “The Man Who Laughs”, Ratty in "The Wind in the Willows", Mary Lennox in "The Secret Garden", Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz" and Amelia in "Amelia Earhart at the Edge of the Stars", Halie starred in “Alien: Escape” alongside the legendary monster from the Alien franchise. She played Mrs Lovett from Sweeny Todd on Strictly Come Dancing, ITV and has performed for Royalty. She has led and facilitated workshops for adults, children and people with special needs.
